Somnath to Dwarka is probably the most booked route we have. And honestly, it makes sense. Two of the most important Jyotirlinga and Char Dham temples sitting just 230 km apart. The drive takes about 4.5 hours if you take the coastal highway through Porbandar. But let me tell you, the road after Junagadh gets really scenic — green hills on one side, open sky on the other. We have sedans starting at ₹3,500 and Innova for ₹5,200 for this route. One thing — leave early morning, like 6 AM early. By afternoon the highway traffic gets annoying, especially near Rajkot junction. And Dwarka during evening aarti? Nothing beats that feeling after a smooth ride. If you want, we can also plan a stop at Porbandar — Gandhi ji birthplace, worth 30 minutes of your time. Our drivers know every dhaba and fuel pump on this route. So you don't need to worry about anything. Just sit back and enjoy Gujarat coastline.
Only 85 km, so you reach in less than 2 hours. Diu is perfect for people who want a quick beach break without traveling too far. The road is mostly flat and smooth, except for a few patches near Veraval. Now here's a tip — if you're going in December or January, book your cab at least 2 days before. That's peak season and we run out of cars fast. Diu Fort, Nagoa Beach, Naida Caves — all within 20-30 minutes of each other. And the seafood at Chakratirth Beach? Amazing. We usually suggest a round trip — go morning, come back evening. But honestly, Diu is worth an overnight stay. We also offer Diu packages with hotel if you want. Cab fare starts at ₹1,800 one way. For a sedan. SUV costs a bit more, around ₹2,400. Both include toll and driver allowance. No hidden charges — I hate when companies do that. You pay what we quote, period.
This one is special for wildlife lovers. Somnath to Sasan Gir is just 65 km, takes about 1.5 hours. But here's what most people don't know — the best time for lion sighting is early morning, like 6:30 AM safari. So we suggest staying near Gir the night before. We have hotel connections there, good ones, not those overpriced resorts. The park is closed from June to October, so plan accordingly. Also, private vehicles are not allowed inside the sanctuary. You need to book a government jeep from the gate. Our driver will drop you there and wait. Safari charges are separate — around ₹800 per person for Indians. If you want a full day trip from Somnath, we can do that too. Leave at 5 AM, do morning safari, visit Devalia Park in afternoon, back by evening. Costs ₹4,500 for sedan, ₹5,800 for Innova. Gir is one of those places where you feel small. In a good way.
Junagadh sits right at the foot of Girnar Hills. About 85 km from Somnath, 2 hours drive. The city has this interesting mix — ancient forts, beautiful mausoleums, and a really happening local market. Uparkot Fort is the one most people visit. It's on a hill so climb can be tiring, especially in summer. But the view from top? Worth every step. Mahabat Maqbara looks like something straight out of a movie. And Girnar ropeway — one of the highest in Asia — takes you up 10,000 steps worth of pilgrim path. Actually, you can skip the steps and take the ropeway up. Saves time and energy. For this route, sedan costs ₹2,200 and SUV around ₹3,000. Junagadh is also the gateway to Gir, so if you want to do both Somnath-Gir-Junagadh in one trip, we have packages for that. Just call and we'll customize it for you.
Rajkot is a business city, so most of our bookings here are for office trips and airport transfers. 190 km, takes about 3.5 hours on the highway. The Ahmedabad-Rajkot expressway is really well maintained — smooth road, proper lanes, good food courts at intervals. We do a lot of Rajkot airport pickups too. If your flight lands late, no problem. We have drivers available 24/7. Just book through our website or give us a call. For this route, sedan fare is ₹3,200 and Innova is ₹4,800. Both include everything. One practical advice — if you're traveling on Monday morning or Friday evening, leave extra early. That's when the highway traffic is worst. Rest of the week, pretty smooth ride. Rajkot to Somnath return is also available if you need it.
Porbandar is where Gandhi was born. And the drive from Somnath is beautiful — 120 km along the coast, takes about 2 hours. You pass through small fishing villages, salt pans, and wide open Arabian Sea views. Kirti Mandir, Gandhi ji's birthplace, is the main attraction. Small museum, peaceful garden, takes about 45 minutes to see everything. Sudama Temple is another must-visit — dedicated to Krishna's childhood friend. The architecture is stunning, especially the carved pillars. We charge ₹2,800 for sedan and ₹3,800 for SUV on this route. Morning trips are best because Porbandar gets windy by afternoon. And if you love seafood, try the fish curry at any local restaurant near the port. Very fresh, very affordable. My driver Raju bhai knows the best spots. Just ask him.
This is a longer one — 270 km, takes about 5 hours. But Jamnagar is worth the drive. Lakhota Palace sitting in the middle of a lake, Marine National Park with its coral reefs, and the famous Bala Hanuman Temple where they've been chanting non-stop since 1964. Yeah, it's in the Guinness Book. The road is good except for a 30 km stretch near Dhrol where construction is still going on. Might add 20 minutes to your trip. We charge ₹4,500 for sedan and ₹6,200 for Innova. For this distance, I'd recommend Innova honestly. More legroom, better suspension, and you can stretch out during the drive. Our drivers on this route know good dhabas for lunch break. Usually stop at Rajkot highway food court — clean, decent food, fair prices. Also, carry a jacket if you're going in winter evenings. It gets surprisingly cold near the coast.
Longest popular route from Somnath at 410 km. Takes about 7 hours. Ahmedabad is Gujarat's biggest city, so we get all kinds of bookings — business, medical trips, airport transfers, family visits. The highway is divided into two parts — Somnath to Rajkot is scenic, Rajkot to Ahmedabad is flat and fast. We have a fuel stop planned at Rajkot, usually. For this route, sedan is ₹5,500 and Innova is ₹7,500. Tempo traveller for big groups is also available — 12 seater costs about ₹12,000. If you want to break the journey, we suggest staying overnight in Rajkot. Makes it more comfortable and you can explore Rajkot city next morning before heading to Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad airport drop is our most common booking for this route. Drivers know the airport layout really well, will drop you right at the terminal. And yes, we track your flight timing so if there's delay, driver adjusts.
Veraval is practically next door — just 6 km, takes 15 minutes. Most people use this for railway station transfer. Veraval has the nearest train station to Somnath. So if you're arriving by train, this is where you'll need a cab. We charge ₹500 for this. Yes, just ₹500. It's basically a drop service. But here's the thing — Veraval is also a major fishing port. If you go early morning, you can see the fish market in full action. Really colorful, really loud, really authentic Gujarat. Our drivers can show you around if you have time. Also, there's a small temple of Shiva near the port that most tourists miss. Driver will know the way. For station pickups, just share your train number and we'll track it. Driver will be waiting at the platform with your name on a board. Feels good, like a VIP treatment.
